<p dir="rtl"><b>תקציר בעברית: </b>המאמר טוען כי המושג "הגמוניה" משמש בישראל כמילת מפתח פוליטית, אך לרוב לא במובנו הגראמשיאני המדויק. לטענת המחבר, חברה שסועה ורוויית מאבקים כמו ישראל מתקשה לקיים הגמוניה סמויה, יציבה ועמוקה באמת. במקום זאת הוא מציע לזהות צורה אחרת של שליטה תרבותית־רגשית: "הגמוניית החיוך", שבה שמחה, אותנטיות ו"עממיות" מוצגות כעליונות מוסרית ופוליטית. כך החיוך הופך לא רק לביטוי רגשי אלא גם לכלי דיכוי של ביקורת ומחלוקת דמוקרטית.<br><br></p><p dir="ltr"><b>English Abstract: </b>The ar
