Self-regulation failures such as procrastination undermine goal attainment and well-being. Although structured goal planning can help bridge the intention–action gap, delivering such guided self-regulatory support at scale remains challenging. Generative AI chatbots offer adaptive, conversational assistance that may provide scalable guidance, yet it remains unclear whether such adaptive dialogue meaningfully enhances goal pursuit and well-being outcomes. The current pre-registered experiment exa
