The Takeaway
Communication errors between different brain types are often treated as social failures. This project views the problem as a geometric projection error in a high-dimensional space. A new bridge language uses Hilbert space operators to translate meanings without forcing anyone to change their cognitive style. It moves past the idea of standardized communication that favors one group over another. This tool allows for a true exchange of ideas that respects the unique structure of every brain. Logic and geometry are providing a new way for humans to understand each other.
From the abstract
Contemporary AI systems are largely trained on, and calibrated to, conventional neurotypical patterns of communication and inference, thereby encoding and amplifying the very asymmetries that marginalize neurodivergent people. In earlier work, we defined a bridge operator on a shared Hilbert space whose eigenvalues serve as the primitive symbols of an intermediate language, Leorica, allowing distinct cognitive bases to be related without reducing one to the other.
